Early Life and Background
Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, born on July 5, 1995, in Hyderabad to a Telugu family with rich sporting credentials. Her father P.V. Ramana was an international volleyball player, having also represented the country during the 1986 Seoul Asian Games when India won a bronze medal in men’s team event.
